Fastest interurban cars in world are leaving competing buses nearly an hour behind on 225-mi. run between Cincinnati and Toledo, though bus route is shorter by 15 mi.; by their owner, Cincinnati and Lake Erie, these cars have been clocked at 90 m.p.h. or better; during trials, police motorcycles were left behind, and even airplane scarcely overhauled "flying" trolley.
