New type of motor vehicle designed in England for use in both road and rail service, is passenger vehicle with seating accommodation for 26, but same principle can be applied to freight transport; when running on road, road wheels are locked in position concentric to axle; when run upon rails arrangement is suchthat rail wheels gradually come in contact with rails and take weight of car off road wheels, which are then raised clar of rails.
