Conversion of Southern Railway Co.'s cross-channel turbine steamer "Brighton" to pleasure yacht "Roussalka" by J. I. Thornycroft and Co.; length b.p. 273 ft.; breadth 34 ft.; depth to main deck 14 ft. 6 in.; propelled by three screws, each directly coupled to set of Parsons turbines, steam being supplied by four single-ended, three-furnace boilers, at working pressure of 150 lb. per sq. in.; four boilers converted to oil-fuel burning on Thornycroft patent system.
