Thornycroft and Co for Southampton, Isle of Wight and South of England Royal Mail Steam Packet Co are for towage work in Southampton Docks and within port area generally; length oa 112 ft, breadth molded 30 ft, depth molded 14 ft; propelled by two sets of triple expansion Thornycroft engines developing 1500 ihp; steam is supplied by two cylindrical boilers burning oil fuel under forced draft.
