In order to analyze propulsion components in relation to scale effect, resistance and self-propulsion tests with these models, and open water propeller tests at various Reynolds numbers were carried out; relation between thrust deduction and frictional and potential wake also investigated. (In Dutch with English abstract p 169-77.) (see also Werft Reederei Hafen v 19 n 17 Sept 1 1938 p 261-5)
