Summary of second report on activities of Daniel Guggenheim Fund for Promotion of Aeronautics, for 1929: progress of commercial aviation in past year exceeded every reasonable expectation: probably outstanding aeronautical achievement of 1928 was demonstration in America by private enterprise that air transport can be made profitable business without government subsidy; plea for wise governmental regulation and indirect assistance to aviation.
