Letter to editor from President of Dry-Zero Corp., referring to paper by C. N. Montieth in August issue of same journal with reference to remarks on reducing noise and vibration; one treatment of cabin wall is described making use of 2-in. Dry-Zero Aeroplane Blanket, which weighs about 3 1/3 ounces per sq. ft., it is a whole (and tubular) fiber which grows in pod of ceiba or silk-cotton tree, and attached to seeds; material is extremely repellent to moisture.
