As soon as functioning of airplane engines have nothing to suffer from it, they should use fuels of limited volatility according to Beau de Rochas cycle, ignited by electric spark; no advantage to use less volatile fuels if suitable methods of ignition and safety devices were not simultaneously adopted; less inflammable fuels should be used even at expense of reduction of power.
