Statistics resulting from survey of airplane and engine production in 1928 are given and discussed total and percentages of various types of planes and engines for country as whole and for different groups of states according to geographical location; commercial airplane production for 1928 is 300 per cent greater than in 1927; greatest number of commercial engines were of 50- to 150-hp. class.
