Description of flight of rocket plane developed by F. von Opel and equipment employed; machine used was simple glider, with single cantilever wing of wood construction; fuselage also of wood, with space in rear for box containing rockets; 16 rockets in rows of four fitted into abbreviated fuselage directly behind cockpit; detonation controlled by mechanism placed near left hand of pilot; third trial from point of view of experiment was entirely successful.
