Results of force tests conducted in atmospheric wind tunnel through large range of angle of attack on series of monoplane and biplane wing models, to determine effects of variation in tip shape, aspect ratio, flap setting, stagger, gap, decalage, sweepback, and airfoil profile; effect of each and approximate autorotational characteristics in form of calculated ranges of rotary instability also given.
