Processes of fabricating balloons and airship envelopes are outlined; rip panel; suspension of car; inflation, assembly, and rigging of non-rigid ships; commercial possibilities of non-rigid airships; present practice of handling by ground or maneuvering crew proved inadequate, hazardous, and prohibitively costly; docking rails and trolleys in conjunction with windscreens will reduce maneuvering crews, but research and experimentation are not conclusive; maneuvering winches; masts or towers; cable mooring.
