Description of Cord Model front-drive passenger car; bodies are 10-in. lower than those on comparable rear-wheel drive automobiles; two closely spaced and directly opposed universal joints at outer ends of driveshafts assure constant wheel-spindle velocity at all steering angles; engine is of nearly normal eight-cylinder design turned around with flywheel housing at front; design of transmission is shown in detail and explained; steering action in actual performance is quite remarkable.
