Seven locomotives built by Greenwood and Batley, Ltd., for coal mines in China; designed for 18-in. gage track with 25-lb. rails, to take 550 to 600 volts d.c. from overhead conductors; drawbar pull of 2000 lb. when running 6 1/4 mi. per hr.; cab is centrally situated and arranged so that driver can face in direction of travel.
