Canadian National Electric Railways recently installed in their Oshawa sub-station, 1200 kw. manually controlled mercury arc rectifier; unit supplies normally 600 volt d.c. current to Oshawa railway and is one of first twelve anno-de rectifiers to be installed in Canada.
