Reconstruction of Susquehanna River (North Branch) crossing of Reading RR between Rupert and Catawissa, Pa, consisting of nine steel riveted truss spans of about 157 ft each, on skew of 54° for E-70 loading, which is first railroad bridge to use interlocking-channel type floor surfaced with asphalt plank, which carries conventional ballasted track.
