Process primarily developed for use on Diesel Locomotives and cars; four methods of producing high range in efficiency by varying air-compression pressure compared; external-compression processes, shows much higher thermal efficiency than superinduction process up to certain speeds; at top speeds efficiency of former falls off while that of superinduction process increases.
