Method of determining mixture strengths while running on road; new tester analyzes exhaust gas from internal combustion engines and indicates result of analysis on scale calibrated in terms of air-fuel ratio over range of 10 to 15; with instrument it is possible to determine rapidly and with scientific accuracy "leanness" or "richness" of fuel mixture.
