After six years of litigation city of Detroit wins legal victory over jitneys, but still has problem of furnishing equivalent service within its borders and to outlying communities; Department of Street Railways plans to install 160 new units, on nine downtown routes which probably means denial of applications from jitney operators; small buses are already operating on many suburban runs in express service; interesting results promised.
