Necessary to emphasize importance of cylinderhead design in regard to economy; regular overhaul; distribution of fuel; carburetor design; thermostat; ignition systems; automatic ignition control; transmission systems; maintenance records; employment of limited number of fuel-economy experts is amply repaid where large number of vehicles are operated; economy of fuel consumption obtained in service depends to large extent upon skill exercised by staff employed in driving vehicles.
