Details of front-axle inspection discussed; it is recommended that such inspection should be made at end of every 5000 mi. of operation; inspection includes steering system; at end of every 50,000 mi. complete front axle should be removed, dismantled, and overhauled; analysis is made also of worm-drive rear-axle inspection which should be made after each 5000 mi.; proper lubrication methods.
