Development of six-wheeled truck was traced in paper contributed to World Motor Transport Congress by British War Office; deals with reasons calling for development of such vehicle for military purposes, and different stages passed through before type was definitely evolved, suggesting that locomotive principle of distributing load over wheels would be adopted.
