Pere Marquette has recently completed installation of Union Switch and Signal Co.'s dispatcher controlled signal system between Mt. Morris, Mich., and Bridgeport, 20-mi. section of single track; all train movements are directed by signal indication; signals, and also power switch machines for passing tracks, are controlled by train director; traffic averages 12 trains each way daily; automatic train graph is important adjunct to control board and is located on director's table.
