Importance of increasing length of roadway that driver of automobile can see ahead of him; vertical curve in approach of Yolo causeway in California became much safer when visibility was increased from less than 500 ft. to more than 1500 ft.; work was done without interrupting traffic by maintenance forces of Highway Commission, at total cost of $550.
