Automatic power plant to supply electricity for operation of 350-ton crane at navy yard at Puget Sound, Wash., will also supply power for ships berthed alongside fitting-out pier; two 800-kw., 3-unit, d.c. motor-generator sets of General Electric design will be installed; two 900-kva. synchronous motors, taking power from 2300-volt, a.c. cable running from central power plant, will drive generators.
