In author's opinion, let public pay price, as large part is doing and adequate street-railway service will surely follow; coo rdination of electric rail car and bus services under single managements has proved so logical and economical for rider that it is being inaugurated generally; fare tendency has been upwards in recognition of good service, national average being eight cents; chief contributing factor to traffic loss has been private automobile.
