Investigation and tests to determine temperature humidity and composition of atmosphere in tunnels of Chesapeake and Ohio Railroad between Clifton Forge, Va., and Hinton, W. Va.; of all tests only two showed any appreciable amount of carbon monoxide and this in amounts that would have no dangerous effects unless exposure was for 45 minutes or longer; chief cause of discomfort was high temperature and humidity.
