In new concept offered by CF and I Steel Corp objective is to place high rail of curves at angle that will cause wheel loads to be distributed across greater portion of rail head instead of being concentrated at gage corner; this is accomplished by tie plates with cant of 1 in 14 which compares with standard of 1 in 40 for plates used on tangent and curved track.
