Description of digital computer model set up to deal with signaling procedures, together with results of three exercises in its use; exercises demonstrated interaction between effectiveness of signaling regime and control strategy adopted in responding to it; it is further shown that track-to-train communication could be used to transmit information necessitated by signaling regime and information needed to achieve desired control strategy.
