Running tests of three-car diesel train with air suspension carried out on German Federal Railways to develop electro-pneumatic servo valve system which tilts body inwards on curves; train was run experimentally at 130 km/hr over route that is limited to 105 km/hr; air springing provides tilting mechanism, with servo system arranged so that air bellows on outside of curve are inflated and those on inside deflated, thus tilting body relative to truck towards inside curve.
