Controller used requires up and down hand motion pivoting at wrist for longitudinal control and lateral hand or forearm motion for lateral control; results, based on pilots' opinion performing lateral and longitudinal maneuvers in jet trainer aircraft at cruising flight conditions, indicate that location of controller is consistent with pilot comfort and aircraft is flyable.
