Flight tests made over lift coefficient range up to about 12.5; characteristics of model without nose jet were satisfactory up to lift coefficient of about 4; of model with nose jet, they were satisfactory over test lift range, but control provided by conventional control surfaces was barely sufficient for maintaining flight at lift of 12.5.
