New system developed with sufficient rigidity for railroad bridges; both single and multiple span bridges dealt with; four-track bridge of 1280 m span; system, it is believed, opens ways for use of suspension bridges for railroad traffic, particularly for combined railroad and highway bridges; illustrations.
