Sulzer engines to be installed in motor vessel under construction for Federal Steam Navigation Co; engine is 2-stroke single acting directly reversible unit, having 10 cylinders with bore of 580 mm and stroke of 760; when installed in Middlesex, two engines will be rated to have continuous output at sea of 9000 bhp at 225 rpm, with corresponding propeller speed of 100 rpm.
