Twin screw passenger ferry Leasowe built for Corp of Wallasey by Philip and Son, Dartmouth; length 145 ft; breadth 34 ft; depth 12 ft 3 in.; gross 567 tons; speed 13 3/4 knots; propelling machinery consists of two Crossley 8-cyl Diesel engines of direct reversible 2-stroke type developing total of 1200 bhp at 330 rpm; ferry can accommodate 1600 passengers and will operate on regular service between Seacombe and Liverpool.
