Problems of feathering are closely connected with blade flapping and control considerations; mechanical design factors, physical and aerodynamic features of rotor system greatly influence feathering; moment equilibrium about feathering axis is of primary importance; feathering and flapping are often coupled and alteration of flapping constants must be kept in mind.
