Frigidaire Division of General Motors solved cross traffic problem by installing underground conveyor system for transporting finished products in two buildings to single warehouse; system consists of 6300 ft of conveyor, 151 electric drives, 82 electric eyes, 74 timers and several hundred relays; only two dispatchers and four maintenance men required; units travel only on palletlike crate bases.
