Diesel electric locomotives are offered in ratings of 1600, 2000 or 2400 hp in single standard chassis and with single standard engine in which only number of cylinders is varied to suit power output requirements: two different wheel arrangements used; weight of each locomotive unit is carried on four driving axles; locomotives for passenger service have two 4-wheel trucks on 1600-hp model; for two larger passenger ratings 6-wheel rear truck is used.
