Copperton Line, 14-mi electrified railroad of Kennecott Copper Corp, runs between open cut copper mine at Bingham, Utah, and two concentrating mills, at Magna and at Arthur; designed to handle 75-car trains at 25 mph; locomotives with dynamic braking haul ore trains; Copperton yard is electrified at 750 v to accept mine locomotives; 3000-v locomotives also operate at 750 v within yard.
