Single wheel developed by A. A. LOCKE of Wayne University, Detroit, provides full control of coaxial twin helicopter rotors; rotation of wheel increases or decreases blade pitch; raising or lowering wheel controls cyclic pitch, and lateral translation of wheel shifts maximum-minimum pitch line to control direction of flight.
