First of five "Bantam class" motor ships built by Wilton-Fijenoord, Schiedam; length bp 515 ft 4 in.; breadth 62 ft 6 in.; depth 40 ft 8 in.; draft 30 ft 10 in.; deadweight 12,431 tons; propelling machinery consists of two sets of single acting, 2-stroke Sulzer Diesel engines, Type 6SD72, each developing 4200 bhp at 125 rpm.
