Weirton Steel Co has installed radio equipment in yardmaster's office and on eight Diesel electric locomotives used for switching 23,000 cars monthly on 36 mi of tracks in plant area at Weirton, W Va; system handles all intra-plant and connecting railroad switching, expedites dispatching, cuts time losses in refueling and eliminates waste motion.
