Layout and production methods at depot of former London, Midland and Scottish Railway Co, Manchester; practically whole of reinforcement used is fabricated in special building; all operations connected with casting are carried out in centrally heated main casting shop or adjoining building; all units weighing between 1 ton and 10 tons are cast on floor underneath 10-ton overhead crane.
