Belliss and Morcom, Birmingham, England, have supplied auxiliary generator equipment with total output of 9650 kw for installation in eight ships under construction for Blue Funnel Line; this total is made up of eight 550 kw geared turbogenerator sets, one for each of eight ships and 15 350-kw Diesel generator sets; three of latter will be fitted in each of five of ships; test bed data for 5-cyl turbocharged auxiliary engine and generator set of 350 kw rated output.
