Blowers being manufactured by D. Napier and Son designed to increase output of Diesel engines with naturally aspirated ratings of between 180 and 1400 bhp by some 50%, using single unit; unit consists of single stage axial flow exhaust gas turbine, arranged to drive centrifugal compressor, turbine wheel and rotary element of blower being fitted to common shaft.
