Cargo motorship "Topeka" built by Burmeister and Wain for Wilh. Wilhelmsen, Oslo, is fitted with first engine of this type constructed in Copenhagen; main engine is of 7-cyl, 2-stroke, poppet valve, crosshead type with 740 mm cyl diam and 1400 mm stroke, developing normally 6400 ihp at 105 rpm; vessel has length of 400 ft, breadth 55 ft, depth to shelter deck 38 ft, and draft 25 ft 4 1/2 in.
