All welded steel double end car and passenger ferry completed by Luders Marine Construction Co, Stamford, Conn, for operation on Connecticut River between Chester and Hadlyme; length oa 64 ft 10 in.; breadth 30 ft 7 in.; ship will accommodate eight average size passenger cars; trucks of moderate size can be accommodated on open deck; propelled by two 80-hp, model D-318 Caterpillar Diesel engines.
