Moussebae built at Cliff Richardson's boat yard, Meaford, is of special spoon bill bow design with hull lines drawn to permit minimum of draft when fully loaded; vessel can operate in shoal waters with cargo of 4 tons, or accommodate 30 passengers; Kermath 6-cyl Diesel engine developing 113 hp at 1800 rpm, drives 3-blade hydraulic, variable pitch aircraft type propeller at half engine speed; specific purpose is to carry school children from Moose Factory to Moosonee.
