Through use of booster heaters on 180 buses, Cleveland Transit System expects to save $500 per bus each year; four makes of boosters being tried out; Anchor Post; Surface Combustion, Petro and Hunter; latter is operated from 220-v electric line in storage yard; other three makes are fuel burning types.
