Los Angeles Transit Lines has put refrigeration to work helping solve some of its maintenance problems; 16 cu ft commercial type refrigerator unit installed, in which parts, such as axle load tubes, differential gears and all pressed type cylinder sleeves, are kept for purpose of shrinkage; example given of how this process saves time in maintenance work.
